Giant Opportunity

Manchester Giants is a British professional basketball team based in Manchester, North West England and playing nationwide.   It was admitted to the top-tier British Basketball League (BBL) in 2012.

The BBL runs two knockout competitions alongside the Championship, the National Cup and BBL Trophy.  Teams include such as: London Lions, Leicester Riders, Glagow Rock and DBL Sharks Sheffield etc.

The BBL Championship is the flagship competition and determines the top team in British basketball over a 36-game regular season campaign. The twelve clubs meet one another on three occasions in the league competition – once at home, once away, and once home or away (alternating each season).

The BBLis growing in audience and media coverage.  A minimum of 2 x Giants games will be shown live on BBC Sport.  Every game is live streamed via 54 partner channels and livebasketball.tv  Regular coverage in local press, including Manchester Evening News.  Significant exposure through official league channels, basketball publications and websites and associated social media.

The Team play its home games at the George H. Carnall Centre in Greater Manchester. This connurbation has just short of 3 million people.
