The new hierarchy, assisted no doubt by some old faces, had to listen to the ‘mood’ of the supporters after some recent poor performances. The new managerial incumbent had delighted fans with the first (Woking) and last (Solihull) results but little cheer inbetween.

We are delighted to announce that Stockport Volleyball Club, “the S’PORT” has agreed to extend and retain the services of our first ever professional PT. He has kept members fitter, stronger and conditioned throughout the pandemic. We salute you Adam Heywood of @achperformance. He has become a firm favourite every Thursday for the S’PORT ZOOM Fitness sessions. We have also been blessed by other sessions run by NVL Coach Ant, Ruth and Marion.
For those that don’t know Adam has been a reliable supporter since we moved NVL fixtures to Brinnington Park and was an instant hit with his knowledge and enthusiasm. His professional routines have been used by Oldham Rugby League and Stockport County Football Club. Coaches will work with this valuable PT resource so we #return2play bigger and better. 
We are delighted to announce that through Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, Stockport Volleyball Club has become a recipient of its ‘Ward Flexibility Award’. The decision was taken and approved by both: Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South and Central Stockport Area Committees. The Club would like to put on record its gratitude to Cllr. Helen Foster-Grime for signposting us to this funding regime. As a result of this recognition, the S’PORT will be able to purchase new equipment and deliver coaching for young people in the Borough for a twelve months’ period.
