Toast

So the Season is over and it is only right to toast 🥂 all stakeholders involved in @stockportcounty …. Owner, Management, Players, Staff and Supporters. You have all been nothing short of awesome in our first Season back in Division 1. Just like the Championship Play Off the night before, the better Team over two legs weren’t the victors. Whilst, not always a fan of VAR, I do think that in Play Offs with the enormity of decisions, it is needed. The whole footballing World were aghast at the incompetence of Officiating in the first Leg. Getting that offside call right would have seen Stockport County through to Wembley for another Final. Unfortunately, despite a superb effort Horsfall, Bailey and Tanto should have made that ‘onion bag’ bulge. We will return and I firmly believe stronger if the momentum continues. Nothing taken for granted but we go again.
